Rooted & Heritage was created from a simple belief: the way a man presents himself matters.

We design timeless garments for men who value discipline, intention, and quiet confidence, pieces meant to be worn, lived in, and passed forward.

Long before menswear became trend-driven and disposable, tailored clothing represented something deeper: pride, restraint, and respect. A sport coat wasn’t just clothing, it was presence. It was identity.

That belief is the foundation of Rooted & Heritage.

Rooted represents where we come from.

My perspective was shaped by the men I grew up around, my father, grandfather, and a generation of Black and African American  professionals who carried themselves with intention. They didn’t dress for attention. They dressed with purpose.

There was a quiet standard in how they showed up - measured, refined, and consistent. That standard became something I carried with me.

It continues to guide every piece we create.

Heritage represents what we pass forward.

Rooted & Heritage is built on the idea that clothing should last—both in construction and in meaning. We focus on garments that feel familiar yet elevated, designed to be worn for years, not seasons.

While our perspective is shaped by lived experience and cultural tradition, our garments are made for any man who values craftsmanship, longevity, and presence.

Our Philosophy

Classic menswear has always been defined by materials, construction, and restraint. Over time, many of those standards have become harder to find outside of luxury price points. Rooted & Heritage exists to return focus to what matters: heritage fabrics, honest construction, and garments designed to be worn for years, not seasons.
